Personal Statement

I am a highly skilled and confident Photographer and Filmmaker, currently working at Hampshire County Council as their Corporate Photographer and Filmmaker. I enjoy managing and delivering digital media projects, working closely with clients to achieve outstanding outcome focused results.

I particularly enjoy engaging with people and communicating the human story through my creative work.

By combining emotionally driven narratives with commercial and corporate targets, I offer a unique creative style, with a proven track record for successful productions.

In my free time, I’m Directing and Producing a documentary, inspired by the Netflix series "Drive to Survive", which focuses on a motor racing team competing in the Britcar's GT4 Endurance Championship.

I thrive on tackling challenging photo and video projects and enjoy watching my hard work and dedication come together in visually appealing productions.

Education and Work History

2022 - Current | Corporate Photographer and Filmmaker | Hampshire County Council

Through my work at Hampshire County Council, I have gained extensive knowledge and expertise in all stages of filmmaking - from pre-production to final delivery. My experience includes serving as Director of Photography and Director for television campaigns at a county-wide level, as well as numerous national high-profile conferences. I have also provided photography services to support various mid-budget digital and print campaigns across multiple Local Government sectors. This work involves investigating data patterns, trends and demographics of viewers.

I’m also one of three individuals involved in the County Council’s live streaming of “London Bridge” which takes place when a Monarch or member of the Royal Family passes away.

2019 - 2022 | BA (Hons) Media Production | Bournemouth University

Whilst working as a Freelancer, I achieved a Degree in Media Production from Bournemouth University (2:1). My film projects throughout this Degree all achieved first-class grades, with my cinematography and editing styles being complimented by experienced lecturers and filmmakers alike.

2018 - 2023 | Director | 4K Media Limited

After graduating from college in 2018, I founded 4K Media Limited, a freelance company that provided me with invaluable experience in account management, scheduling and meeting strict deadlines for over 50 separate projects. I created visual content for a wide range of clients, including interior designers, art galleries, technology companies, cafes, bars, and restaurants.

For this placement, I was working alongside their HR Department to produce valuable training videos for internal use. I also generated ideas that helped with scheduling internal video content and graphic design.

During this placement, I was responsible for selecting, downloading and filing a multitude of stock images and videos. I also made some highly commended tea and coffee!


Interests

2023 - Current | Director, Producer, DoP | Newbarn Racing

I am currently leading a team of three creatives to produce social media content on a frequent basis. In addition to this, I am also working on a documentary called "Drive to Survive". The documentary follows the underdog story of Newbarn Racing in the GT4 Category. I am collaborating closely with two drivers, three mechanics and the Team Principal to create the documentary. My responsibilities include planning and organising shoots, as well as managing the logistical aspects of the project. I’m also the 1st Camera Operator and Editor.
